Rheinisches Malermuseum

This small Bonn museum preserves old, almost forgotten techniques of the painter and decorator's trade. At its heart is a faithfully recreated painter's workshop from around 1900, with tools, paint mills, brushes and pigments. Designs for murals, ceilings and facades show different methods, and another section covers the history of Bonn's painters' guild. The collection grew from the estate of a Bonn master painter.
