Radiomuseum Duisburg

Duisburg, Nordrhein-Westfalen

Radio history unfolds decade by decade here, from the first valve sets of the 1920s to the receivers of the 1970s. Around 450 pieces fill more than 350 square metres, arranged by decade, and some of the sets still work and are switched on for demonstrations. Gramophones, television cabinets and tape recorders round out the collection. The museum is in the Ruhrort district and run by volunteers, who also host talks and swap meets for radio enthusiasts.
