Lehmbruck-Museum

Duisburg, Nordrhein-Westfalen

Set in Immanuel Kant Park, this museum is devoted to the sculptor Wilhelm Lehmbruck, alongside international modern sculpture and German Expressionist sculpture and painting. It was designed by his son Manfred: a low concrete building for the sculptures and a bright glass hall opening onto the park. The surrounding sculpture garden holds more than 40 open-air works.
