Protiletecký kryt 10-Z
Brno, Jihomoravský kraj
This underground shelter on Husova street in central Brno was built under the Nazis as protection from air raids, then converted in 1959 into a secret nuclear shelter for city and regional leaders. It could hold up to 500 people for three days and stayed under army control until 1993. A wine wholesaler briefly used it after the war. Today it is being turned into a meeting place.
