Moravská galerie v Brně

Brno, Jihomoravský kraj

Art in Brno is spread across several buildings here, and the range is wide: painting, drawing, prints and sculpture, but also photography, design and fashion. The main houses are the Pražák Palace, the Museum of Applied Arts, the Governor's Palace and Jurkovič House, with the Josef Hoffmann Museum in Brtnice and an open depository as further branches. Permanent displays are joined by temporary shows, drawing on a collection of over 200,000 works. The gallery also ran the International Biennial of Graphic Design Brno, last held in 2018.
