Polizeimuseum Niedersachsen

Nienburg/Weser, Niedersachsen

About 1,000 exhibits across some 700 square metres trace the history of policing from antiquity, focusing on Lower Saxony's state police after the Second World War. You will see uniforms, equipment, police vehicles, a police station and forensic tools. Documents and photos from the case of serial killer Fritz Haarmann, along with his cleaver, are a notable part.
