Peter Rosegger Museum
Krieglach, Steiermark
Peter Rosegger, the Styrian poet and journalist, spent his summers in this country house in Krieglach. He had it built in 1877 to plans he sketched himself, and he died here in 1918. The rooms have been open as a museum since 1948 and show his life and work. In the garden stands the Studierhäusl, a small timber hut added in 1896.
