Otto-Haesler-Museum
Celle, Niedersachsen
This Celle museum honours the architect Otto Haesler and occupies the 1931 laundry, bath and heating house of his Blumläger Feld housing estate. In a neighbouring row of flats, three apartments survive in their original form: a workers' flat from 1930, refugee quarters from 1945 and a workers' flat as it was in the 1950s. Together they show how people lived in different eras.
