Bomann-Museum
Celle, Niedersachsen
Lower Saxon folk culture and the history of the region and of Celle itself are the subjects of this museum, one of the larger city museums in the state. It stands on the Schlossplatz opposite the castle, in a building put up between 1903 and 1907. Its facades blend castle-like and domestic forms, solid and half-timbered construction, and several historic styles into one picturesque whole.
