Ostravské muzeum

Ostrava, Moravskoslezský kraj

The Ostrava Museum fills the Old Town Hall on Masarykovo náměstí, one of the oldest buildings in the city, where it has been open since 1931. Its collections grew from several earlier Ostrava museums and include the finds of teacher Karel Jaromír Bukovanský, who founded the city's first museum in 1872.
