Reworked halls of a former copper smelter in Vítkovice now hold a branch of the National Museum of Agriculture. The exhibitions Food Depository and Gallery of Czech Food look at food production, and study depots show agricultural machinery. The halls date from 1926 and host temporary exhibitions, events and educational programmes. The north hall is used each year by the Colours of Ostrava festival.
