Orgelbaumuseum Klosterhäseler
An der Poststraße, Sachsen-Anhalt
In the crypt of a Cistercian nuns' monastery from the early 14th century, this small museum is devoted to organ building. It shows tools, organ parts, display boards and wind chest models, plus an organ positive without its case that lets you follow how a mechanical slider-chest organ works. One section recalls the Heerwagen organ workshop, active here from 1855 to 1892.
