Öömrang Hüs

Nebel, Schleswig-Holstein

This thatched captain's house in Nebel, thought to date from around 1683, shows how people on Amrun once lived. Several rooms in the living quarters, among them the kitchen and parlour, are furnished as they would have been. In the parlour, look for the Bilegger stove of 1681 set against a tiled wall picturing a smack ship, whose captain once owned the house.
