Oldenburger Wallmuseum

Oldenburg in Holstein, Schleswig-Holstein

The focus here is the Slavs of eastern Holstein. Archaeological finds from Starigard, the early medieval Slavic Oldenburg, are shown in rebuilt historic farm buildings. Outdoors you will find a Slavic village on an artificial island, a full-size replica of a Slavic trading ship, and the grounds around the Wallsee lake with its island sanctuary.
