Dorfmuseum Grube
Thomsdorf, Schleswig-Holstein
A house from 1890, typical of Grube in its day, now shows village life before the age of technology. You will find a fully furnished bedroom from around 1900 and a 1930s schoolroom, along with displays on reed cutting and processing and on the draining of the Gruber See in 1938. There are also prehistoric finds. When the storks return in March, a monitor shows live pictures from their nest.
