Oberhausmuseum

Passau, Bayern

High above Passau, inside one of Europe's largest surviving castle complexes, this museum tells the story of the city and its region. A circular route leads through eight exhibition sections across several parts of the Veste Oberhaus, covering about 2,500 square metres. It also takes in the Batterie Linde viewpoint and a lookout tower. The collection began in 1885 in the castle's observation tower.
