Niedersächsisches Landesmuseum für Kunst und Kulturgeschichte

Oldenburg, Niedersachsen

This state museum of art and cultural history spreads across three buildings close together in Oldenburg: the castle, the Augusteum and the Prinzenpalais. The castle holds decorative arts, regional history and a number of old master paintings. The Augusteum was built by the grand dukes of Oldenburg to house their collections. Because the sites lie so near each other, you can easily visit all three on foot.
