Landesmuseum Natur und Mensch Oldenburg

Oldenburg, Niedersachsen

Bog, geest and coast are the three themes of the permanent exhibition, which weaves together archaeology, natural history and ethnology. The museum is especially strong on the bog archaeology of north-west Germany, and it also has an aquarium. It stands on the Damm southwest of the Schlossgarten, an easy walk from the Augusteum, the Prinzenpalais and the castle.
