Naturkundemuseum Bamberg

Bamberg, Bayern

Natural history has been collected here since 1791, when Prince-Bishop Franz Ludwig von Erthal founded the cabinet that still occupies the former Jesuit college in Bamberg's Inselstadt. Exhibits on biology and geology fill the historic rooms. Many pieces were donated by Julius von Minutoli from his travels outside Europe.
