Národní památník války
Hrabyně, Moravskoslezský kraj
Between Ostrava and Opava, this national memorial stands on the site of the fiercest fighting of the Ostrava-Opava operation at the end of the Second World War, in which the 1st Czechoslovak Army Corps took part. It was designed by architects Rudolf Spáčil, Josef Kupka and Bronislav Firla. The monumental landscape structure commemorates the war and its victims and is part of the Silesian Museum.
