Four restored forts built in 1935–1938 show what Czechoslovakia's pre-war border defences looked like. Reconstruction began in 1980 to match their 1938 state, and the site at Darkovičky near Hlučín has been part of the Silesian Museum since 1992. It has been a protected cultural monument since 2012.
