Nähmaschinenmuseum Sommerfeld

Kremmen, Brandenburg

A former stable on a four-sided farmstead in Sommerfeld now holds more than 240 sewing machines, from the 19th century days of inventor Elias Howe to contemporary models. Many makers appear with several machines, among them Singer, Pfaff, Adler and Dürkopp. You will also find travelling, children's, fur, hat and boot machines, a stocking darner, and thimbles, thread and scissors.
