Muzeum Ziemi Sądeckiej

Nowy Sącz, małopolskie

This regional museum in Nowy Sącz was known as the District Museum until 2024. Its history is dramatic: the collections opened in the rebuilt castle in 1938, but an ammunition depot explosion in January 1945 reduced the castle and its holdings to ruins. The museum was rebuilt after the war and now presents the heritage of the Sącz region.
