Muzeum Zabawek w Karpaczu

Karpacz, dolnośląskie

Housed in Karpacz's former railway station, this museum is built around a toy collection assembled by Henryk Tomaszewski, founder of the Wrocław Pantomime Theatre. He donated it to the town in 1994, and the museum opened the following year. The toys are shown in display cases designed and hand-painted by Kazimierz Wiśniak. The poet Tadeusz Różewicz, a friend of Tomaszewski, visited and wrote a poem about the place.
