Muzeum Literackie Henryka Sienkiewicza w Poznaniu

Poznań, wielkopolskie

On the corner of the Old Market Square and Zamkowa Street, this museum is devoted to Henryk Sienkiewicz, author of Quo Vadis. It grew from a collection of Sienkiewicz memorabilia put together by the collector Ignacy Moś. The seed of it was a gift from the writer's family, grateful for his help during the war: a special edition of Quo Vadis from Sienkiewicz's own library, inscribed by his son. The museum is a branch of the Raczyński Library.
