Makieta Dawnego Poznania

Beneath the Franciscan church in Poznań sit three models that show the city in different eras. One shows the stronghold of the first Piast rulers on Ostrów Tumski in the early 11th century; another shows Poznań as in the 1618 Braun and Hogenberg engraving, built from around 2,000 pieces. That one comes with a recorded commentary and smoke, lightning and fire effects, while the stronghold gets a laser show. The third model, of the Old Market Square, is made for blind visitors. The entrance is from Ludgardy Street.
