Wielkopolskie Muzeum Wojskowe

Right on Poznań's Old Market Square, in a building within the block of houses at the centre of the square, this military museum holds around 40,000 items. Poznań's tradition of military collections goes back to 1919, when the first such museum opened in the city and ran until 1939. Today it is a branch of the National Museum in Poznań.
