Muzeum Katedralne im. Jana Pawła II na Wawelu

Kraków, małopolskie

The treasures of Wawel Cathedral are displayed here in the Cathedral House, two 14th-century buildings beside the Vasa Gate. You will see objects from the cathedral treasury, liturgical vestments and vessels, paintings, sculptures and historical keepsakes, including memorabilia of John Paul II. Cardinal Karol Wojtyła opened the museum in 1978, and among the exhibits is a coconut-shell and silver cup said to have belonged to Queen Jadwiga.
