Muzeum Hutnictwa w Chorzowie

Housed in the old power station of the Royal Ironworks, this museum tells the story of iron and steelmaking in Chorzów and Silesia, and of the people and changes that came with it. The hall itself is part of the draw: its oldest section dates from 1895, and for years it supplied electricity to the town then called Königshütte. Visitors can see the permanent exhibition that opened in 2021. The museum sits on the Industrial Monuments Route, so it pairs well with other industrial sites around the region.
