Muzeum Broni Pancernej w Poznaniu

Poznań, wielkopolskie

Set on the grounds of a former barracks near Ławica airport, this is a collection of armoured vehicles spanning the First World War to the Cold War. It began in 1963 as a teaching aid for future tank officers, and its first exhibits included T-34/85, IS-2 and IS-3 tanks and the ISU-152 self-propelled gun. Thirty-seven of the vehicles are listed as historic monuments. It suits anyone who wants to see military hardware up close.
