Historic working vessels and boats that once plied the Elbe lie moored on the riverbank at Övelgönne, and all of them are still seaworthy. It is the oldest museum harbour in Germany, kept going by a preservation association. The HADAG ferry line 62 stops at the Neumühlen/Oevelgönne landing.
