Museum Synagoge Gröbzig

In Gröbzig the synagogue, community house, cheder and Jewish cemetery survive together, and the museum spreads across several of these buildings. Five permanent exhibitions cover German-Jewish history through the story of the town, Jewish festivals and rites, Jews in the First World War, and the Jewish primary school. The women's gallery of the synagogue is itself an exhibition space. The former local museum has been reshaped into the Jewish museum of Saxony-Anhalt.
