Across about 260 square metres in a listed house, this local museum shows village life as it used to be. A carpenter's shop, doctor's surgery, smithy and cobbler's workshop are fitted out, alongside farming and forestry tools, equipment for home slaughtering and dairy work, and old school exercise books and account ledgers. One area documents the fate of emigrants to America, including Henry M. Arens.
