Museum Hameln

Hameln, Niedersachsen

Two Weser Renaissance buildings on Osterstraße in Hameln's old town, the Leisthaus and the Stiftsherrenhaus, make up this museum. The permanent exhibition covers the history and culture of the town and the Weser Uplands. A particular focus is the Pied Piper legend, which is also told in the museum's own Rattenfänger theatre. The museum is accessible without barriers.
