Museum Behnhaus Drägerhaus
Lübeck, Schleswig-Holstein
A neoclassical townhouse of 1783 on Lübeck's Königstraße holds 19th-century painting, including the Nazarenes, as well as Impressionism and Expressionism. The Nazarenes have a local link, as Friedrich Overbeck was born in Lübeck. The rooms also show middle-class interiors from Rococo to Biedermeier. The museum is known too for its works by Edvard Munch.
