Museum Abodiacum

In Epfach, Roman Abodiacum on the Via Claudia, this museum follows the settlement of the Lorenzberg from 14 BC until it was abandoned around AD 390. Timelines and texts guide you through the centuries, and models show the bath house, the roadside settlement of the 2nd century and the hilltop fortification of the 4th. More than a hundred tin figures bring the scenes to life, including legionaries building a road. Admission is free.
