Mühlauersäge

Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße, Salzburg

Wood is the whole subject here, from the tree's seed to the finished product. The museum grew out of the Mühlauer family's water-powered sawmill, which in 1913 also began supplying electricity to the entire village of Fusch. It lies slightly hidden at the sawmill, beyond the municipal office and primary school.
