Mineralogisches Museum Würzburg

Würzburg, Bayern

On the Hubland Süd campus, this university museum fills five rooms on the ground floor of the geography building with almost 20 themes. They range from the Earth as part of the solar system, a meteorite collection and the Nördlinger Ries impact, to plate tectonics, the structure of the Earth, mineralogy and crystallography. The collection descends from a natural history cabinet of the late 18th century.
