Mathematikum
Gießen, Hessen
Maths you can touch: in this hands-on museum in a former main customs office, visitors try out around 200 experiment stations instead of reading formulas. You can stand inside a soap film, make figures with mirrors, build geometric shapes or assemble a Leonardo bridge from wooden logs. It is aimed at all ages and levels of background knowledge.
