Marmorschlössl
Bad Ischl, Oberösterreich
This small Tudor-style cottage in the Kaiserpark, above the Kaiservilla, served Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elisabeth as a breakfast salon. Built between 1856 and 1861 from Untersberg marble, it took its name from the stone. In the large salon, 16 carved figures from the Nibelungenlied flank the windows and doors. It now hosts exhibitions on the Salzkammergut and the imperial family.
