Literaturmuseum der Österreichischen Nationalbibliothek
Wien, Wien
Austrian literature from the late 18th century to the present unfolds across two floors, in historical and thematic chapters that include the multilingual traditions of the Habsburg monarchy. The building dates from 1843/44 and once housed the imperial court chamber archive. Part of the tour is the preserved office of the poet Franz Grillparzer, who directed the archive.
