The Albertina's main building is the Palais Erzherzog Albrecht, a former Habsburg residence. It shows art from six centuries, from the Gothic to the present, and its graphic arts collection is among the world's major ones. Two further sites belong to it: Albertina Modern on Karlsplatz, covering art from classical modernism onwards, and Albertina Klosterneuburg, devoted to art after 1945.
