Kupferstichkabinett Berlin

Berlin, Berlin

Drawings, prints, pastels, watercolours and oil sketches: everything here is art on paper. The holdings are vast, with over half a million prints and around 110,000 other works, running from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. Among them are drawings by Dürer and Grünewald, Botticelli's illustrations for Dante's Divine Comedy and the estate of Adolph Menzel. The museum stands in the Kulturforum near Potsdamer Platz, part of the Berlin State Museums.
