Kunsthalle im Lipsius-Bau

Dresden, Sachsen

Tucked into the domed Lipsius Building on the Brühl Terrace, this is a hall for changing exhibitions, mostly of contemporary art. The building went up between 1887 and 1894 in the historicist style, with an ornate pediment. Works by the Dresden artists' group Brücke were already shown here in 1905. The Albertinum is right next door.
