John-Heartfield-Haus Waldsieversdorf
Waldsieversdorf, Brandenburg
John Heartfield, the photomontage artist, spent his summers here from 1957 until 1968. The house in the Märkische Schweiz now serves as a place of memorial and meeting. The woodland garden that he and his wife planted still holds rare trees and is at its best in spring, when magnolias, lilac, rhododendrons and fruit trees bloom.
