Industrie-Museum Ennepetal

Ennepetal, Nordrhein-Westfalen

A brick building from 1891 to 1896, originally a wood-screw factory, houses this museum of industrial history. The three-storey hall is notable for its 60 cast-iron columns on each floor, which carry the wooden floors and the saw-tooth roof. The collection grew from the company history of the Kruse iron foundry together with technical models made in Ennepetal. A half-timbered house stands beside it, and both buildings are listed.
