Housed in the rebuilt Berlin Palace in Mitte, the Humboldt Forum presents collections and cultures from Africa, Asia, the Americas and Oceania. It is home to the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art, along with the Berlin exhibition of the city museum and a Humboldt University laboratory. The palace's own history is also told. Named for Alexander and Wilhelm von Humboldt, it complements the nearby Museum Island.
