Höllberghof

Brandenburg, Brandenburg

Höllberghof lies in the Niederlausitzer Landrücken nature park and is a working farm rebuilt in 1991 after a 200-year-old model, using wood, clay, reed, stone and straw. The three-sided farmstead keeps rural customs alive and serves environmental education. A 2,500-metre circular path leads past enclosures with old farm breeds such as Skudde sheep and pasture pigs. At the spring and harvest festivals, people in 19th-century costume demonstrate crafts and bake bread in the old bakehouse.
