Tanning and leatherwork are the subject of this technical museum. A historic demonstration workshop shows white tanning, alongside tanning agents, leather and furs from around the world, a cobbler's workshop with a journeyman's room, and pewter guild tableware from Doberlug and Kirchhain. A production line of working machines shows how leather is made industrially.
