Hohenzollerisches Landesmuseum
Hechingen, Baden-Württemberg
This museum in Hechingen brings together art, cultural history and regional history of the Hohenzollern lands. It traces the County of Hohenzollern, the principalities of Hechingen and Sigmaringen, and the later Prussian province. The core is a collection begun in 1896, including church artworks rescued by a regional conservator and prehistoric finds uncovered during railway construction. It was shown at Hohenzollern Castle from 1920 and has been in Hechingen since 1974.
